We are constantly looking for new, diverse vendors to expand VELAS Farmers Markets. We strive to give business opportunities to local entrepreneurs.
-We charge a small fee
-That’s right. We charge a relative small fee for space or commission.
-We provide and set up one canopy, one table and two chair to the vendors. Certain vendors qualify for multiple spaces and multiple canopies or tables. For more details, contact us.
-We accept EBT, WIC, Senior FMNP Vouchers at no extra cost to our vendors. FREE marketing of your business!
Vendor Application Requirements
-All vendors must complete and sign a VELAS Farmers Markets Booth Application. To download a printable version, click here
-All vendors should provide proof of liability insurance
-Producer Certificate(s) Click here to see sample
-Letter(s) of Employee Click here to see sample
-L.A. Health Department Permit (All equipment and materials necessary to obtain permit)
-Sellers Permit Click here to see sample Description and photographs or samples of hand-made products
-Submit VELAS Farmers Markets Booth Application along with applicable requirements as delineated above
-Schedule appointment with Market Manager
-There is usually a 30-day wait period, in which the VELA Vendor Selection Committee reviews all submissions for approval.If approved, vendor proceeds to sign Vendor Contract. Only then can said vendor be scheduled to participate in any of VELAS Farmers Markets.
